It is hoped that up to 2,000 runners will commence their 5k journey from the home of Wolves Football Club, the Molineux and then through to the West Park to complete the course. All runners will be asked to raise as much personal sponsorship as possible. All participants will receive a commemorative t-shirt and a goody-bag and the finishers of course will receive a medal. The main sponsors for the Wolves FC, the Chaucer Group have very kindly agreed to support our "Run for Dreams". Wolves held a 20th anniversary game in honour of striking legend Steve Bull. The match - at Molineux against the Villa - will be the highlight of a year of celebrations that has the support of the Wolves board and new manager Mick McCarthy. Chief Executive Jez Moxey says: "Steve has done more than most over the years to help Wolves both on the field and in the community. We are delighted to be supporting him during his anniversary year and hope to finalise the details on when the game will take place in the near future." Steve, who first signed for Wolves from West Bromwich Albion in November 1986, retired in the summer of 1999 after making 561 appearances and scoring 306 goals. He went on to work for the club as a community ambassador, a role he currently combines with his position as patron of Promise Dreams. The children's charity will be the nominated partner of Steve's anniversary year. Steve says: "I'm delighted the club has given me this game and that my official partner will be Promise Dreams. It's a special charity that does a great deal to help serious and terminally ill children." More details about Steve's events will appear on WOW and London Wolves throughout the year.
